We offer guided day tours in the renowned LaHave Island Archipelago and the Mahone Bay Islands on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. For those who prefer a self guided tour, we also rent kayaks, paddleboards and canoes. We also offer multi-day expeditions in superb locations across Atlantic Canada, as well as outdoor education, yoga, paddling instruction and other custom group programs and tours. Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia is a sea kayaker's paradise; consisting of more the three hundred islands, many of which have been conserved for their ecological significance and beauty.  Important habitat for a diversity of bird and marine life, the islands have also been shaped by a fascinating history of privateers & rum-runners, shipbuilding and vibrant Nova Scotian coastal culture. Sheltered paddling routes are suitable for all levels and ages. 

Launch points and routes vary depending on weather conditions and paddlers’ interests.

  • Includes: kayaking and safety gear, snacks & guide

  • Location: Mahone Bay

What to bring:

  • Water bottle

  • Comfortable non-cotton clothing (quick drying)

  • Sun protection: Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeves

  • Windbreaker or splash jacket

  • Sturdy footwear that can get wet (eg. sports sandal, croc style clogs, running shoes, neoprene booties)
