Explore the Mahone Bay Islands by sea kayak at your leisure!

Half day self-guided tour:

Rent a single or double sea kayak for a half day (4hrs), and paddle from our launch in Mahone Bay to Andrews Island, one of the nearby wild islands that has been protected thanks to the work of the Mahone Islands Conservation Association (MICA).  Feel a world away on this nearby island, which is well-equipped with a picnic table, perfect for an island snack.

Full day self-guided tour:

From our launch in Mahone Bay, paddle out to Andrews Island for a snack. Once you've refuelled and stretched your legs with a little island exploration or swim, continue to do some bird watching at Goat Island, another nearby gem owned by MICA. Weave through Rous, Ernst & Gifford Islands towards Indian Point. Don't forget to check out the local scallop farm on your way back to town!

Multi-Day Self guided tour:

Both the MICA protected Mahone Bay islands, and Cape LaHave Island provide an array of great camping options. Immerse yourself in island living! Multi-day tripping experience recommended.

Remember we all share the islands! Please review the Principles of Leave No Trace before your trip. We are all stewards for these magic places.
