Sea kayaking and stand up paddling (SUP) adventures in Nova Scotia and Canada’s North Atlantic Coast. We offer guided day tours in the renowned LaHave Island Archipelago and the Mahone Bay Islands on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. For those who prefer a self guided tour, we also rent kayaks, paddleboards and canoes. We also offer multi-day expeditions in superb locations across Atlantic Canada, as well as outdoor education, yoga, paddling instruction and other custom group programs and tours. For those with previous sea kayaking experience, this archipelago of islands offers a superb island hopping, as well as camping opportunities on Cape LaHave Island. 

Note: Navigation experience is required for rentals here, due to the potential for fog.

Rental Policy

  • All renters are required to sign a standard rental agreement form, which includes a release of claims and acknowledgement of responsibility for equipment.
  • Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged to the renter at the full retail price.
  • All renters must have valid ID and a matching credit card for a damage deposit.
  • Renters must arrive 15 minutes prior to their reservation time to complete a standard rental waiver and payment.
  • Everyone under the age of majority (19yrs) must have a parent or legal guardian sign a standard rental waiver
  • Solo kayakers must be confident doing a solo capsize re-entry, and have Paddle Canada Level 2 Skills.
  • Navigational experience and a working cell phone or VHF radio is required for all groups paddlers. 
  • Depending on the weather conditions, we reserve the right to require that you use a guide or have basic training and paddling experience.
