Planning your trip to Nova Scotia’s LaHave Islands to come kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding with us? Here's some information to help you make your travel plans.
We are located in LaHave, Nova Scotia, 45min by car from the town of Mahone Bay, 20min from Bridgewater and Lunenburg, and 10min from Rose Bay. All of these towns have great accommodation options and restaurants. Check out our advice on where to stay for more details.
We are approx. 1 hour from Halifax, 1.5 hours to the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
Car rentals are available at the Halifax Airport, in Halifax and in nearby Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
For those who are not travelling by car, Maritime Bus offers services from Halifax & the Halifax Airport to Bridgewater and Lunenburg. Private shuttle is also available from several local taxi companies:
These companies can also organize local transport for you, from your hotel to Cape LaHave Adventures, or to Bridgewater to rent a car to continue your adventure afterwards.
There are also some great bicycle rental companies on the South Shore, if pedal power is your preference!
